Dark Fawn Peruvian - Mel is a rare dark fawn full Peruvian female, who (along with all of her cria) has done exceptionally well in the show ring. She won 1st in her class and Reserve Champion Female at the 1999 B.C. Lama Lovers Show. Her first daughter won 1st in class at the 2001 CABA Fleece Show. Her 2nd daughter won 2nd at CNASF 2002, and Reserve Grand Champion Female at West Coast Lama Breeders Sweepstakes. Her 3rd daughter (who we've kept in our breeding program) was a money winner at the 2003 CNASF, and at 4 years of age is still under 20 microns. Her two male offspring both placed near the top of their classes at the Pacific Coast and CNASF Shows.
Mel is bred to Snowmass Quechua's Shahtoosh for a September 2010 cria.
